ResQ Code of Conduct
If this Code of Conduct is something that you agree with and are willing to commit to, we warmly welcome you into our company! It’s time to roll up our sleeves together and work towards a better tomorrow and a healthier world.
Rule 1: Act like a decent human being.
Decency consists of a lot of things, but we want to emphasise the following aspects of it:
-
We have zero tolerance for any kind of discrimination, racism or sexism.
Zero. Non. We do not accept any form of discrimination based on gender, race, religion, political opinion, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, marital status, language, disability or other aspects contributing to where we come from, who we are and what we look like. -
We treat each other with dignity and respect
We promote a workplace that is supportive and respectful for all employees and members of the extended workforce. We want to provide a safe work environment and do not accept any kind of disrespectful behaviour or communication in our day-to-day or any of our company activities or occasions. Unaccepted behaviour includes but is not limited to bullying, harassment and any behaviour which any person in the situation would find humiliating, intimidating or offensive. Harassment can take many forms from subtle comments to blatant physical violence and does not have to be continuous or ongoing. -
We assume good intentions behind every action
We acknowledge the fact that we're in this together and while we may have different opinions, we always assume that everyone is working and basing their decisions on what they think is best for the company. Mistakes are OK and even desirable, but it's essential to own them and to learn from them.
Rules 2-7 | our promises to each other
-
We aim to have a positive impact on the environment and the world
We are working for a better tomorrow and a greener future. All our actions are based on this. -
We stay curious and ask if we don't fully understand
Polite disagreement should be seen as a positive force that will guide us towards better decisions. -
We ask for help if needed, and we help others when needed
We are only a few, and if a ball is just dropped, it can go unnoticed for a good period of time. -
We work smarter, not harder
We aim to increase the impact, not hours worked, of each member of the team. -
We take autonomy seriously
With autonomy comes accountability. Everyone is responsible for their own work, getting things done and making sure their way of working increases team and company impact. -
We show up on time
We acknowledge that by being late or missing, we waste each other's time. It is disrespectful towards others.
